Anyone who has done Smokin' Joe's Fall Color Ride knows "Miss Reba" the owner of Phillip's Motel where we stay every year in Robbinsville N.C.

I called her tonight to make my reservations for this year's ride and she told me that she was having major surgery on her shoulder on Sept. 1.....her birthday.

She sounded a little worried and Miss Reba don't scare easily.

If you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers it would be nice.

Thanks for posting Paul  cooldude  Miss Reba takes good care of us and she's getting up there in the years . Not sure how many know this but Miss Reba is a millionaire probably a couple times over and she's just as down to earth as any southern granny....I thought I had a few pictures of her on my computer but with over 4,000 pictures I can't find one  Undecided  Thoughts and prayers for Miss Reba.

Prayers up for Miss Reba. Hopefully, her recovery will be complete and speedy, and her hospital stay brief.

Prayers sent.

I stayed there a few days several years back. Man, what a great Lady and host she was. We came in from riding in a big blowing storm on the Cherohala, in spite of our rainsuits we were soaked. Rain even seemed to blow up under our helmets. She called our room and offered to dry our clothes almost as soon as we got in the door. We found them folded and dry on our beds when we got back from dinner.
