I'm going broke. Got a kid in college and that's bad enough. Maybe I should petition Congress to bail me out!

Seems to be a self fulfilling phrophecy. The early morning news shows said it was going to happen before the bell rang. Europe and asia sneezes and we get the flu. We are all being played. It's happened before and it will happen again and the rich get richer.

Democracy... while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide. John Adams
democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding who's for dinner. good thing we have a democratic republic

so a correction is where you lose all your money, aint so correct from where I sit there was some years when if I put a thousand into the market next month I have 800 according to the statement in the mail So I stop putting it into the retirement account, just leaving it at 2% in the bank in a cd or a treasury and my principal is still safe thank you very much Of course a few months ago I was convinced to put some bucks into certain stocks, which means.............yep another correction I would be better off buying Valkyrie's like HB, they at least are something you can enjoy and sell at a profit, or profit by never selling them and enjoying them

I actually expected this back in December and moved a large chunk of my 401K into money market. The next time I look the fund had gone up 20%. Now it is back down below where I sold it and I am about ready to buy it back. If I had left it alone right now I would feel like I lost about $40K. So it has not been bad for me.
