Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jeff from Orlando area. Just bought my dream bike of all time, and I have had a bunch. I have a '99 I/S, one of the fast "Green/Silver" kind. Shes in great shape, getting her prettied up a little and can't wait to head to the mountains. I'm a retired Fireman from the Altamonte Springs Fire Dept and now work for Home Depot. I have already learned so much from you guys already and look forward to meeting some of you one day soon. Thanks.

Welcome Jeff. I live 20 miles N. of Gainesville and have the same color scheme as you on my 99 Interstate. There are several folks in your area if you need help with anything. Look us up on the FL. Board that Grumpy posted the link to. We do ride to eat on occasion, so watch the Fl. Board for lunch rides.

Moral of this post is....don't follow Grumpy anywhere. He says he's east of you, I always thought Sefner was west of here....I'm in the Orlando area also. Sorry Bill(Grumpy), just had to pull your chain on that one. I'm in Winter Park, when the weather cools somewhat you'll start to see posts on the Fla. board about weekend get-togethers. You're welcome to stop by the Schmidt House anytime.

Looking forward to it..Thanks for the invite!! We love to ride the mountains..usually the BRP, we are going there in October. Can't wait to ride the most beautiful motorcycle highway on the worlds best cruiser. Did and end to ender on the Parkway..and back again, same trip, on my 98 Aspencade. I have never been so freaking giddy about a motorcycle in my life as I am about the Valk. What a great forum to share it all. I will be checking the Florida pages. Thanks for the warm welcome.

We will be up that way the first 8 or 9 days of October. My wife has never done the Parkway on a bike before so she can't wait!! We are staying in the Boone area, 2 miles from the BRP entrance.
