Simply Awesome!!!

« on: August 19, 2011, 07:13:07 PM »

OK Folks,

I recently replaced my front tire. I mounted it and then static balanced as good as could be. I rode the bike, hey it rides nice. New rubber on the ground always feels good!
So later, I add Ride On to the front tire.
The actuall product was not sticky and would rinse off my fingers with flowing water and easy to put into the tire.
Now I ride...
WOW, I have never ridden on tires so smooth!!! Grin This took smoothness on a motorcycle to a entirely different level.
I hear the nay sayers "he didn't have it balanced very well" I say hogwash, It was balanced very well.
I , at this point will say it's awesomely smooth. Not to mention the safety factor with this product.  cooldude

Cheers

Did you remove the stick on weights?

No I did not take off the weights.

Per Ride On,
-add the nominal amount with a balanced tire.
-if no balancing was done prior, the you must add the "severe" amount, which is more.

My thoughts, if the tire is already balanced, the Ride On tops of the balancing.
If not balanced, then you really don't know how out of balance the tire was and the Ride On may or may not get the "maximum" balance for your tire. Just my thinking. But that's why they have two application rates of Ride On.

It made a believer out of me!!! cooldude

Call em and ask for the Valkyrie group discount. Grin

I agree completely,,, I added Ride On a day before I took my Vegas trip and all I can say is it was well worth it, MUCH MUCH smoother ride was very obvious. I gave about $50 for 3 bottles from E-bay with shipping and I can tell you I will do it again when these tires wear out... I loaded them up to maximun reccomended.

I did it since this was my first long ride and my first long ride with the wife and full load on the bike. Felt like any extra insurance was well worth it for safety. Was worried about trying to swap out a tire or try to plug one on the side of the highway... and the possibility of injury if we had a sudden loss of air will running at highway speeds...

After I watched the videos with them drilling holes in the tires, I was convienced.
Now that I have it in my tires, you know, I have a better piece of mind. Remembering the fact that a person still needs to look at the tires incase he has picked up a nail!!! cooldude

I had similar results with Ride On with my V-Strom. I'll use it on the Valk with my next set of tires. I have Dyna Beads in now & I don't think the 2 products would work well together.

The two products do NOT work together.  I know someone   Lips Sealed  who added Ride On to a tire that already had Dyna Beads (unbeknownst to him)   Shocked ,  and he had a mess on his hands   Cheesy  Undecided
