Spent the money on the Zumo 660 but a little disappointed. Blue tooth pairing is NOT consistent. When it does pair and I use the MP3 player from the Zumo 9 out of 10 times the sound quality is CRAP. Sounds like I'm listening to an old AM transistor radio in a shoe box.

Also when its paired I am not able to communicate with my buddy who has the other matching Scala G4 headset on his helmet. I've been using the G4 for several months though my cell phone and it works and pairs just about every time, can make calls, talk to buddy and play the phones MP3 player. The phones GPS is slow and has misled me several times so I bought the Zumo.

When I'm lucky enough to get the G4 paired properly and the sound quality it normal If my buddy tries to call me, we talk then he signs off the Zumo will disconnect by itself and the pairing nightmare happens again.

Sure like to know if anyone else has this problem, done all the firmware updates. Spoke both with Garmin and Cardo and of course they each blame the other. Any help will be appreciated.

can't help you directly since I have the G4 and Zumo 550 setup, but I've had no issues like you describe.  Is your phone paired to the Zumo, then the Zumo to the headset?  That's the order of pairing (the phone is not paired directly to the headset) in order to have all function properly.

There is possibly someone that can help you here....

Got the phone paired to the Zumo then Zumo to the G4. Have found the sound quality is perfect the first time I pair it but if I turn off the G4 and back on again the sound quality is crap.
Have you ever run across this?

thanks for the link I'll check it out today.
