Just Riding The Many Storms Of Life

Ft.Worth, Texas

« on: August 21, 2011, 03:44:32 PM »

When I used to drive for MS Carriers, out of Memphis TN, I noticed a screen saver one of the dispatchers had on his computer.  It had a black screen and had a motorcycle racing across the screen till it got to the bottom.  There was a ramp there with cars  and the bike would jump it.  Every time the bike completed the jump, another car would be added.  After a few times the bike would again jump and, of course, eventually crash.  The funny part was the rider and bike would be laying on the ground, an ambulance would pull up, pick up the bike, put it in back of the ambulance, and drive off, leaving the rider.  The whole thing looked like something akin to the old Asteroids game, with black background and the bike and rider somewhat like stick figures.  The dispatcher said he would give me a copy of this, but it never happened.  I know about the Daredevil Dan savers, but it was nothing like this crude, yet funny, basic one.  Anyone got any ideas where I could get this one?  It's old, I mean back in the early 90's.

In this wild and wolly world, there are only 3 things you can depend on, your brains, your bros, and your bike.  Ride free!!!
