Demo Day - Very happy w/my IS

This past weekend one of the local HD Dealers had a demo day.  My buddy who rides a Sportster has been looking at the Street Glide and asked me to tag along.  So I tested drove the Heritage Softail and the Ultra classic...no worries, I'm not going to that dark side .  Although, I enjoyed the demo, I am very happy with my IS.  Other than the HD hoopla, I was not impressed with the ultra (ok - the only thing that I would change to my IS...is added floorboards w/heel-toe shifter)

I love HD demo days.  I look forward to them every year. Nothing better then beating on someone elses bikes.   I am surprised how 'light' the Electra Glides feel. I didn't like the 'in your face' of the fairing tho. The Road Glide is more my style. Feet couldn't touch the ground with the Buells. Wish other dealers had demos like HD.

We also had a local HD/Honda Dealership Open House with Demo rides (but just the HD's).  I did want to take a new Wing for a spin but no Hondas for test rides.   I did take an Ultra Classic out.... and absolutely hated it... except for the comfortable seat.  That darn thing shook soo much coming to a stop I thought it was going to die out.... but that is part of the Harley Experience so it seems.  I am very happy with the VTX and the Valk, and that HD test ride only confirmed my appreciation for both bikes.

Blondie really likes the 'Glides in terms of fit and ease of handling but wants a Night Rod for the grin factor...
