Most know the story by now that I have another due to the graciousness of my Uncle and riding partner. This Bumble Bee will NEVER leave my hands. I had some pictures I was going to post of him watching me leave and rubbling his eyes as if crying as I took the Fat Lady away and down to TN, but have not been able to find them and some feel that story has been used up, so on with todays ride........

Never got in touch with Joe and figured he left out already for a ride himself. Thought I may run into him but either way I was determined I was sneaking a ride in as it had been too long and needed a break and my therapy. Stopped of at Smoky Mtn Harley in Maryville and saw this bike. Any quesses as to the engine???? Will fill that in later if we get a correct answer.

So enough of that I took 321 to Lenoir City and caught 11 down to Sweewater. Gassed up the bike and headed towards the Cherohalla Skyway

Stopped at Kats Deli to gas me up along the river and feed some fish.

As I was feeding the fish this guy wanted to get gassed up as well and came to eat some fish.

Got a few shots at Bald River Falls as my Uncle likes the pics of my different bikes I've had taken in front of the falls. I think he has about 6 different bikes pictured at those falls of mine. Anyway the falls weren't flowing as I have seen in the past because of how dry it's been lately.

After that it was back to the skyway and some cooler temps. At Kats my thermometer showed 100 and up top it was reading 79-80. Much better. A few shots from along the skyway

Coming down the other side and into Robbinsville to catch 129 and stop at the resort for a cold drink.

At the resort I saw some people standing around my bike and went over to talk. Met a guy from Ky on a red and black interstate with a friend on a wing. Asked me a few questions and I directed him to the forum. Said he had been reading here and all the talk about hydrolock has him wanting to sell now and get another Harley. See the panic you guys cause.  crazy2
After awhile I headed back on the dragon towards Maryville and about 2 niles in saw abunch of people at the side of the road. Stopped to help as there was a guy that went over and he and the bike were still off the hillside a short disstance. Someone started cutting his jeans of for when the medics get there and I was told they were already called. Nothing more I could do so figured I get out of the way and move along before it got any more congested. Past 1 THP, 2 Sheriffs cars and a Rescue Squad heading there about 20 minutes later. Help is not around the corner when you make a mistake there. He seemed he would be okay and I hope he is. The bike is toast, I think it was an St1100 or the like. Definately a Honda as I could see it on the fairing. That's about it for today...... cooldude
