Found a window of grey fog to ride my Valkyrie in this morning.

Last weekend I went to ride and found my rear tire flat as I pulled up to the street in front of my house

WTF ?

Well I noticed that the valve stem cover was not on  I have the fancy stem with the nuts inside and outside that is supposed to be the primo one on that back tire Bridgestone Battleaxe 200 and ride on is in the tire.

Found it at the bottom of my driveway and after using my handy plug in air compressor and pumping in 42 lbs of air I put that sucker back on

Could a not completely tightened schrader valve let that much air out?  I rode over to G=Man's house to see if he had the little gizmo that comes in the rideon pack to tighten that valve  I musta lost the old one as I had to have it to put the ride on in the tire in june

He found it (a miracle indeed) and it WAS not all the way tightened so I tightened it and put the cap back on

Hope that does the trick

Rode north then east then a road that goes about everywhichway and past the Dam and then decided to ride home. As I backed into the garage the skies started to open up

Timing is everything isnt it?

not even 60 miles but I will take it
