I got a chuckle out of this, but you have to listen to the very end for the best line. Take it for the humor intended, nothing else, and leave all your political posturing in the commode.

So, if I think it's funny to say you are full of "fertilizer", then you should ignore that, because, hey, it's just "humor"?

Plain and simple, it's a political statement. You make a statement, I would expect you to be prepared for the logical result, instead of saying to ignore it, because YOU think it's funny.

Many of us, felt NO humor when Reagan decimated this country, and people bought right into it. Sure, he did a few things good, all presidents do, but Reagan increased the debt ceiling faster, by FAR, than ANY president:

Debt Ceiling under Reagan

And, the debt has climbed under GOP rule, MUCH more than Democratic rule:

We had a saying, under Reagan - "You think Reaganomics is working? Ask everyone who ISN'T!!".

Spending during Reagan's two terms (FY 1981-88) averaged 22.4% GDP, well above the 20.6% GDP average from 1971 to 2009. In addition, the public debt rose from 26.1% GDP in 1980 to 41.0% GDP by 1988. In dollar terms, the public debt rose from $712 billion in 1980 to $2,052 billion in 1988, a roughly three-fold increase.

Nope, I can't find ANYTHING humorous about Reagan's "Legacy"...

and this president spent more than the previous presidents  in the last 20 years combined. your pouint being?????? and let us not forget that his debt ratio is already up to 70% of the g.d.p. and your point on that topic is??????? each time a republican gets out of office the economy is generally doing better so the debt ceiling doesn't need to be raised as much........

Walkure, I'm quite a few years older than you, and I wasn't living under a rock or another planet during those years. That doesn't mean I don't find humor in most politician's remarks....or yours at times, even though you took it to a personal level. The video was posted for the humorous content, nothing more. Nowhere did I say anything about it being an endorsement of his or any other party's policies.

Okay, I was hoping this thread would stay towards the lighter side of things, but.....

I SO hope whoever the GOP puts to run against Obama turns this into a campaign ad... This is some GREAT irony and hypocrisy...

Senator Obama calls Bush "unpatriotic" for adding trillions to debt www.RightFace.uspowered by Aeva

What Bush did in 8 years (And I'll make no excuses for Bush doing this, it was a VERY bad thing he did!) Obama then, after calling Bush "Unpatriotic" for doing it, did the same amount in 2.5 years...

when President Reagan won the 1st time I thought what a great country

an actor (actually one smarter than he seemed) can be president

We have had clowns before and since so why not an actor

We have had many good laughs from Ronald Reagan over his lifetime and his aw shucks demeanor always struck a chord with me I dont know why exactly

You cant bankrupt the soviet union without spending money

very creative  I loved how he played with the Russians,

of course it wasnt all good  trickle down didnt trickle for everyone

hey I am skipping lines like Big Al now

they say imitation is a form of flattery so I guess he wont mind

I laughed at the jokes...

I come from generations of democrats, now more of a libertarian conservative and dont follow any party line  (is this the jabba/skinhead party?)

Go figure

More reagan jokes please   Wink

It aint even winter and the fur is flying already  jeeeezlouise

Yeah, that's why the disclaimer was there, eh? You KNEW it would insult people, or you WOULDN'T have listed your disclaimer. I, for one, probably wouldn't have given it a second thought, had it NOT been there.

Blatant "Hey, I'm going to insult things you believe in, but don't want you to remark, or you are toilet-talking!!"...

buncha hooey...

Can we ever expect you to stop criticizing this president for what he's done? Something tells me you won't. But that last part of your statement is high comedy. Look up the trending of the economy under the last four Republican Presidents and the condition they left the country in when they left office. No really, do it.

It is kind of funny that someone would essentially say;  "Please don't turn this video of a political snipe into a political argument".
