I have two spares....one good and ready to use, one needs rebuilding but I'd love to find one already chromed out. I know JP used to do it but when I last talked to him about it a couple years back his opinion was it's a major PITA. At the time he said he could do it but wasn't really all that enthused about the prospect of doing another. So....any suggestions, other than maybe this post should be on the Tech Board?

Just thought I'd start the search ahead of the time when I plan to pull the rear end down for regular maintenance. When it comes to cost if you have one to sell, keep in mind I don't plan on funding your retirement. Keep it reasonable, especially since I have a couple spares already and don't REALLY need this. But....it's chrome!!!  2funny

This one has been polished so have the wheels, fork tubes and rotors ...Dude did a great job many folks saw this bike this year in Texas at Hotglue's GOTF's and thought everything had been chromed. Just about every area in America has Mexican's that run some sort of clean-up shop they are here in my area and I've seen some nice work they did polishing crotch rocket frames and wheels ( Look around if you don't want to do it yourself ) .

Joe, that sure looks good, I've come to expect that on your bikes. I already polished the forks(need to go over them again, been about five years) and the wheels are chromed. While the wheels were off being chromed, I polished the rotors. I may take your suggestion and check the area for an outfit that will polish the final for me. Here in central Fla. we also have a lot of "talented" workers.

It's not my bike it belongs to a guy in Louisiana however I do dig the color  Smiley I wish my wheels looked like that he did a great job on polishing the aluminum....Maybe he'll see this and offer some pointers.
