Sorry, I don't know how to embed here.  If someone would like to, please feel free.

I thought this was a very creative political work.  I happen to agree with it but, regardless it must have been a lot of work and is very well done.

Goes with the Casey at bat theme.   cooldude  Very applicable in my humble opinion.

Unfortunately.

I'm sorry for hijacking this thread, but when I clicked on the op's link, all I get is an empty box with some sort of little icon in the upper left corner.  This happens all the time, so I'm sure there's something I need to download or turn on that will allow me to see these types of threads, just don't know what it is.  Can someone with some computer savvy help me?  I apologize again for hijacking this.

Right, which is why he signed 480 billion in bailouts and stimulus money into the thriving economy.  2funny

It's all about your perspective.  Considering the Congress Bush II had to work with, I'm thinking he did alright.  Disclaimer: Liberals will disagree with this but, they've been wrong most of the lives.   Wink

But you're missing something; the fact that he had to spend the way he did means the economy was in the shitter long before Obama. Fact, not opinion.

And Obama would positively KILL Bush II in a fight. He's not only younger and in better shape but he's got blanger (black anger) going for him. Also, Bush managed to fall off of a Segway, a vehicle designed specifically so you can not fall off of it and yet somehow he managed to do just that. I can't believe they let the guy fly airplanes in the military, so many shiny things to be distracted by...

Geeze Man, gain some perspective will you. Roll Eyes Bush was wrong on several key areas, but right on so many more. Obama has been wrong on almost everything. Bush put 4.2 trillion on the debt line in ""8"" years, mostly fighting wars on terror to keep us from getting ambushed by Muslim extremists again, Obama beat him to that number in 2 years!! You Liberal gentlemen need to realize, Obama fooled a lot of people, admit it and get over it, Obama is no fool, Obama is taking us down a progressive path to destroy capitalism, which is how we got to be the "Best GD country in the whole GD world". Obama's actions are not defensible, Bush is gone get off him, we need new people up there to get us back to what made us great (Tea Party). We need term limits, a balanced budget amendment to the constitution and a fair tax. That will just be getting us started. IMHO

You all are ignoring the fact. The BIG ONE!  The FACT that Obama and Bush are both players for team America and both have struck out  Sad  And that is definitely not  just the 1st,2nd or even 3rd strike. We have just been changing the rules to allow 'just 1 more strike' for so long that the 1/2 of the crowd that had given up on the ballgame and refused to cheer,or jeer, either way have returned to throw rotten fruit...BOTH WAYS !        Cry

Corporations dont want to sponsor a loosing team and the advertisements are wasted dollars when every one is sick of the game. We may need to change the rules BACK so we have no choice but to become a winning team again by playing ball the way it was intended!   tickedoff

Here is my plan smart guy. We need term limits, a balanced budget amendment to the constitution and a fair tax.

Weird that you think fighting wars on terror is funny. Says a lot! Sad.

One of my favorite quotes is:

We need term limits,

Already in place. It's called voting.

a balanced budget amendment to the constitution

Worst idea ever for a lot of reasons and it's the refuge of the uneducated. People who argue for a balanced budget amendment have no idea how economies work. To prove my point just look at the politicians arguing for a balanced budget amendment. You do not become prosperous without capital and you get capital typically by borrowing it. can you borrow too much? Of course you can. But what do you do in times of war (like say, a war on terror)? How do you think your boy Bush's "war on terror" would have gone with a BBA?

and a fair tax.

That I'll agree with. And a fair tax for everyone, including corporations and the super wealthy.

Weird that you think fighting wars on terror is funny. Says a lot! Sad.

I was laughing because you seem to be naive enough to think that it was a war on terror.

One of my favorite quotes is:

"If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove your not a racist, Vote for someone else in 2012 to prove your not an idiot"

I've got news for you; had McCain been elected we'd be in worse shape. He would have handled this budget crisis in a similar fashion while getting us into another full scale war in the sandbox. Some of us saw that coming and took the option that didn't get more young Americans killed far from home.

You're right, but that doesn't change the fact that McCain was not the answer and the guy at the wheel now took over after the bus left the cliff.

The mea party's hare-brained schemes (among which are turning the country over to corporations as if they're knights in shining armor in exile just champing at the bit to come and save America from the socialist hordes) aren't the answer either. The mea party is a radical overreaction to a negative stimulus. I mean I get it, but it's not the answer to cut your nose off to spite your ugly face.

Where did you hear it? Have any documentation to back it up?

From the Bureau of Labor Statistics...

Bazinga!

'course, we can talk about spending, also - CBO...

The numbers in these two charts come from Budget of the United States Government: Historical Tables Fiscal Year 2012.  They are just the amounts that the government spent and borrowed, period,  Anyone can go look them up.  People who claim that Obama "tripled the deficit" are either misled or are trying to mislead.

But, as long as people are dedicated to making the President a one-term president, the truth doesn't really matter, just what is perceived as the truth. There are none so blind, as those that won't see...

R, the commie...
