my old home state Orygun had some good'uns; brothers, sisters, boring, paisley....
for Cali the pick has got to be weed. eureka! is good but its no weed  Cool

AZ has globe, snowflake and goodyear. flagstaff sounds kinda funny if you think about it (shoulda called it flagpole)

Texas has a bunch of good names but humble takes the prize. they have the 72 ounce steak, the ten gallon hat and long horn cattle, what do they have to be humble about?  2funny

OK has bushyhead and indianapolis, yep just like indiana

MO has herculaneum and peculiar (seems pretty normal to me)

IL speaking of normal and paw paw and metropolis (those of us that went inzane at paducah remember who lives in metropolis)

IN has the town of santa claus, last time I went through it was december....

NC has pollocksville

the afore mentioned threeway TN is agood'un

FL has the town of howie-in-the-hills and yeehaw junction

that would make a great reality TV show 'the real housewives of yeehaw junction'  2funny

There is a Valkyrie guy in Wahoo, Nebraska, on this forum I THINK.  It is SW of Omaha.   Was he at the Kansas ride in? I know there was a couple from up that way. Hoser   ???  Any way it is a neat name for a town.

Its interesting how some of the AZ towns got their name - Globe's name came from a mining claim, Snowflake was founded by two Mormon families, the Snows and the Flakes; Goodyear started out as the place where the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co grew cotton for tire treads; Show Low's name came from feuding ranchers that were at odds with each other over acquiring ranch land - they finally settled it in a card game - who ever showed low won (the main street thru town is named "Deuce of Clubs" as a result).
