I just wrote out the last check for my Valk. It was paid for before but after the divorce I was to give the x a big ol chunk of change. Used the Valk for colateral. Now its mine again. Better not be a 3rd lean I told Kit earlier.  Evil I bet I spent $15k in payments for this thing over the years.  Angry Also it was 11 years ago next week that I bought her new. It'll be nice not having a payment even tho Kit went out and bought herself a 4x4 a week ago.

Congrats Brian on having the bike paid for. You know instead of riding that ol Harley in and out of the Garage everyday you should just buy it. Help out the ex and give yourself something to ride when just feel like it. Hey give me a call and i will try to do some rides. 765/309/6543.

Ex wife...  tickedoff tickedoff I hope I never have to say that in application to myself.

Married 20 years this year to wife V 1.0.  She's super cool.  And we have a 4 year old that she doesn't want to take on without me... so I figure I'm good for at least 14 more years.  angel

My wife is Da'Bomb.

First wife told me to get rid of the Goldwing as we needed the money. I told her that she would go before the bike. ( I started riding in 1963 ) I have almost always had a bike.Kept the bike , got rid of the wife.( best  $250.000 I ever spent. A couple years later , sold the wing after buying a Valk.
A new wife , a new home, a whole new life. My wife rides with me when she has time. I could not ask for a better life. Bike, streetrod and truck all paid for.

Me too.  Wife 1 started to give me an ultimatum once:  "Either the band or me".  I stopped her in the middle and told her not to ask questions she wouldn't like the answer to.  Shut her up for once... tickedoff

Yep. Back it out and washed it. Pulled it back in for the night. Next day I rode around the block and washed it again. Back into the trailer it went. I also set the alarm.  Grin  cooldude

Curious - would that be "personal" records, or "vinyl" records?? Just asking, 'cuz in mine, the vinyl was pretty much the FIRST things she threw out in the yard...

Cool - I've managed to keep a large amount of my licorice pizza's over the years!

Great on the bike, Fudgie - I was lucky enough to pay cash for mine, due to the car wreck. Not the way I would have CHOSEN, but the way it happened, anyway. Just glad I have it.

Now, the house, I've paid off no less than 5 times! First time was three years after I bought it, then often over the years. Paid $25,000 when I bought it, the last time, they appraised it for $190,000. It's worth the $25,000, maybe a few pennies more. But, it has been cheaper paying the 5% on the house, with the deductions, than making a car payment. The wife's car she bought, is the first car payment we've had in YEARS!

Good feeling, knowing that if they take away the house, I can always live in the truck, and at least drive to employment!!
