Not to butt in on iba1990's thread which was a disccusion over highest roads in the U.S. The road up Pikes Peak is being paved this year and is supposed to be all paved by next summer. Less than 2 miles left of dirt now.
I saw this nice video and while back and decided to share it here. It's Chip Yates riding an all electric motorcycle up at the Pikes Peak race this year.
Unlike a combusion engine that electric motor doesn't loose any HP going up. This would be a fun bike to ride a bit.
I'm might snap a couple pix myself next weekend up Pikes Peak. We'll be riding up it next Saturday.
