I have been looking at Valkyries for a while now, i am going to buy the right one and most likely it will be a trike. I have owned two Valkyries in the past, i have balance problems now from Diabetic Neuropathy. Really makes me walk funny and makes the cops check you alot when you are at gas stops. I have dropped the harley a couple of times so a Trike is the answer. But i have found some nice looking bikes out there for real good prices.

Have you checked out the Harley Tri-glide?  If I was to do a trike, I'd be hard pressed to pass it up.  I do like a Wing trike too though......tuff choices.

Look at the Crossbow. When they start with a less expemsive bike the trike is resonable.

Saw that one on a ride with the Knoxville bunch when stopping to fix a little problem Paul had. Interesting look.

Not sure about the seats but I love the color. Go Heels!  Cool

We saw this motorcycle in a shop up in Kentucky a couple years ago on " The Whiskey Run " we did to Bardstown , Kentucky. It would be my opinion that this bike was either owned by a flaming homo or a lady . If you see it in person you will know why I say this .

Plenty Interstate or standard trikes around, screw the others, get a Valk. In the unlikely event you don't find one, the GW is next.  Hoser

A guy in Knoxville , Tennessee has a beautiful red / black Interstate for sale. It's low mile and blinged out nicely. He is also the same guy that bought my Interstate new and he takes great pride in his ride. He just bought a new Wing trike and wants to sell the Valkyrie trike....I'll look around I think I " may " have a picture .I have his phone # if interested .

UPDATE...Just talked to Carl and he sold the trike...He has a 1998 Tourer he bought from T-Bird that he claims he might sell but said the price would be high as the Tourer is low mile and in  immaculate condition.

Thanks Joe and everyone for your inputs, I really will have to go for a trike. I love the Valkyrie and have always thought a triked Valkyrie Interstate would be a great bike. I just can't hold up two wheels very well anymore. I also know that honda is is the best build engine out there, the price i have found range from $12,500 to $23,000 for a Valkrie Trike. Some of these bikes don't even have ten thousand miles on them. I am in no hurry so i will find the right deal for me.

My thoughts as well...but,

I did see an Indian Motorcycle at the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis last month with the same paint scheme and it was a bigger babe magnet than carrying a puppy.

Hey Floyd glad to see you back on the board.
Sorry to hear about your condition, but glad to hear your staying positive about it and still going to ride. Make sure you get a trike that has been built by a good trike company and not some backyard shop slapping them together and sending them down the road.  We have a trike converter here in my home town that does alot of Goldwings and lately I've seen and heard of some shaddy rigging he has done to make things work.  I would go with a Can Am Spyder

I looked at the spider, i looked at gold wings, The Valkyrie Interstate Trike just does something for me. I will make sure to really check out what i am going to buy to make sure the kit is what it should be. I am not above building my own trike, i have seen some used kits from wrecks that are still good for under $5000. So time will tell what i will do. I love to ride and i will always ride until they say i can't.
