We're getting it down here in Sodom on the Potomac too.  Over 48 hours of constant rain, often hours long deluges, with a few short breaks.... maybe ending sometime tomorrow.   Sump dumping every 30 seconds.  Fortunately no power loss yet.

I could ride to the store, but the snorkel's not working.

here too

all the parkways were closed yesterday and today

bronx river parkway, hutchinson river parkway, saw mill river parkway and part of the sprain and taconic
these are the north south roads in westchester county. That leaves the thruway (87) but you cant get to the entrance in Elmsford without an hour long wait as 9A was also flooded on the whole southbound side, the cops finally split the northbound side 1 lane each direction but by then it was fubar
It took me over 2 hrs to go 22 miles to work yesterday, today an hour and a half tryin back roads that sometimes ended in u turns

Wish I could send this rain and water to texas

at least the basement and garage are dry

Hang in there Robin, soon it will be winter and that foot of rain will equal 12 feet of snow
