Hi All,  I am about ready for a new rear tire and looking hard at the Dark Side.  I can get a Potenza G009 at a very reasonable price.  I remember some messages on the board about the tire just can not remember exactly what they said.  So, those of you that have this tire or have used this tire, what do you think.  Is it a good tire for a new Darksider??  Thanks.

I've had the G009 on for over a year now and it's great. It's my first c/t. It's very stable at speed, great in the corners and you feel a lot better when its wet out. You can use more rear brake if you need it before the tire locks up.
It will track ruts in the road. At speed its not to bad but when you are below 30mph it can surprise you. That's the only downside that I have found. I highly recommend it.  cooldude

Thanks for the reply, I believe that I will go ahead and try the darkside.  This looks like a good tire to start out with.

I love my Potenza G109 grid.
