He was on his way to meet some of us on sat am & lost control on the HWY 27/I-4 ramp. I don't know details & it was to dark to see anything on my way home tonight from picking up Max.
he was air lifted to Tampa Gen. talked to his brother & he has broken ribs, broken collar bone, cracked neck & his spleen is messed up. I don't remember if lungs were involved.
A freind called the recker service & his bike is on hold. they weren't sure if he was going to make it so they're holding it till the cops say OK. I will be calling them tomorrow to find out how to get it out of there so the days don''t keep racking up. stay tuned cause I might need help with someone with a trailer.
please do not call him cause he can't talk, to many drugs & I'm sure to swollen.
if you have him in a e mail group listing please take him out of it till he's up & moving. he had over a 1000 last time & it messed up his PC.
I'll keep ya posted with what I know & let you know when he can talk or have visits.
you can check the FL board for updates, but I have to get some sleep so I can go to work tomorrow.

Thanks for the info.  Tell him he is in our thoughts.  He is a great guy.

btw, does this mean I won't be getting any juicy e-mails from him for a while or more???

Sorry to hear this.  Sad

Is this the same "TJ" that hit the sport bike on Hwy 28 near Deals Gap 2 or 3 years ago?  Undecided

DD/Debbi - any news on TJ.

Your first post had some troubling coments like "they weren't sure if he would make it" and "I can't remember if lungs were involved" or something like that.

How is he doing? I hope the actual condition isn't as bad as feared. Broken ribs can definitely tear or puncture a lung. I hope not.  Undecided
