A bigger copy is here:http://photo.vrccservices.com/albums/userpics/11974/barbers09.jpg

Barbers is going to be really crowded when our groups show up. Barbers has set up parking areas for us in two locations. One for those that are going to the museum and one for those going to the race. The above map will be in your registration packet but let me point out at the bottom of the map the route that Barbers has asked that we take (later there will be a test  Angry)

If you are going to the race, bring a foot for your kickstand since you'll be parking on the grass in the Fan Zone.

We will be selling race tickets to the race Friday evening at registration for $25.00.

See you there... cooldude

great map Jack! those same $25 race tickets...cost $45 at the gate. $40 in advance. Even the local Honda shop....who has been selling race tickets for years....pays $32 for them and then resells them for a little profit. When i told them i had gotten them for $25 for our group.....they gave me a blank stare....then asked me NOT to mention that around any of their customers as i stood there  Cheesy

Anyway, i paid $25 for ours...and you pay.....eh....$25  cooldude

Here is a schedule for races on Saturday:

7:30 Gates Open
8:00 am – 8:30 am Warm-Up Moto-GT
8:40 am – 9:00 am Qualifying SuperSport
9:10 am – 9:40 am Final Qualifying American Superbike
9:50 am – 10:10 am Final Qualifying Daytona SportBike Group A
10:20 am – 10:40 am Final Qualifying Daytona SportBike Group B
11:00 am – 1:00 pm Moto-GT 2 Hour Team Race
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Lunch Break
1:45 pm American Superbikes on Grid
2:00 pm Fan Walk/Opening Ceremonies – American Superbike
3:00 pm American Superbike 21 Laps – 50 Mi/80 Km
4:00 pm Daytona SportBike 21 Laps – 50 Mi/80 Km

Our first group  out is 930....putting us there about 1100. IF...you want to go to the 1100 Moto-GT race...you might want to leave on your OWN....before us? For me to get a group down the mountain...in time to be in place for that race...would require us to go at about 0800. Too much fog usually.....WAY TOO MUCH hangover for many usually .....at that time!  uglystupid2  Also, not sure i could get EVERYONE thru the restaurant for breakfast in time to do that? Anyway, if you are so inclined...and there will be some....just take off on your own. You could always go straight to the track via interstate.....simple ride.....and quick.

but the main races are in the afternoon...after lunch...and we will be in place in ample time for those!!!!   cooldude

Looks like Sherry and i will on the Runes. Don't suppose someone would have some extra room in their saddle bags/trunk for our half helmets and a jacket? Just curious....no storage on the Rune ya' know! Just trying to avoid carrying a jacket and helmet with me all day...........

also.....those going to the race...need to have your race ticket AVAILABLE when we go thru the gate...as a group. that will speed the process up............

YES, i'll repeat all this friday night during annoucements. NO, half the folks won't be listening....so they won't hear it  Sad

So........that's why i keep bringing this kind of stuff up.......so there will be fewer that say "if only i would have known that.........you should have told us"  Roll Eyes

They say in the military, there's always that 10% that don't get the word   2funny

anyway, with 30,000+ people swarming around, we're working hard with track officials to keep our group orgainized...and the confusion for US....to a minimum!
