I was born in Chicago in '66.  we moved to the suburbs then left civilization in '75 (we moved to cadott wisconsin)  I see those pictures and it reminds me of home.  I loved living in the city (Chicago that is) it was fun, exciting, and everyone in our neighborhood spoke Italian and they could pronounce our last name, we fit in, we belonged. 

thanks for sharing those pictures.  even though the city wasn't my own, it brings back some very fond memories.
