Greetings from Tim - one of the newest members of this awesome forum.

I've lusted after a Valkyrie for sometime now, finally bought one in Denver, Colorado (off Craigslist ad). I flew up there and rode her home to Leander, Texas (just north of Austin). It was an awesome ride home, I took the scenic route through the Rockies, took roughly 3 days to make it home, but I loved almost every minute of it.

Thanks to all of you for the helpful information you share on this forum. I'm sure I'll be needing some help and your good suggestions to get this "builder bike" fixed up and setup the way she should be.

Any of you folks in the Austin/Cedar Park/Leander area - please do drop me an email my wife Valerie and I would love to meet y'all for a ride sometime soon!

Tim

Hey Tim, welcome! Thanks for jumping in here. I sure enjoyed your "honeymoon" pics. Looks like a great trip. I hope it is a long term relationship! ~Jeff

Howdy Valerie and Tim,

Welcome to the family.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I / we do.  Janet & I get to Austin / Cedar Park / Bee Cave several times a year.  Next time I know we're going, I'll post if we're riding and email if we're caging it.  Or, if you ever get to DFW...
