Gilligan and Navigator - Wherever we ended up

Southwest Indiana

« on: September 18, 2011, 09:31:51 AM »

Hi, y'all.  Six2go emailed us and asked Navigator and I how we're doing after selling the Valk in 2009.  Life is good, but I admit I really miss the Valk and the traveling we did on her.  My heart still skips a beat when I see someone on a Valk.  It is still the greatest motorcycle on the planet.

We hope you all are doing well and are able to ride whenever the spirit moves you.  We’ll check the board every so often to see your ride reports.

thanks for checking in

Your ride reports have been an inspiration for me to get out and see the country
with my wife

Maybe you could post a "best of Gilligan and Navigator ride report" some day, especially the trip
you had where you were up in Lake Louise and Banff

Good to see that both of you are doing well.   I never did get down to Evansville, sorry.

Since we talked, I moved into an apartment, reluctantly got rid of the Miata, and now I'm riding a Vstrom 1000, so far so good.

Again, good to hear from you.

Glad to see you 2 are still above ground.

Play it cool, winter is about to begin and I predict a rough mother.

We are due and I think Maw Nature was trying to tell us something this spring with all the rain.

Hey, old friend, I am glad to hear you are still riding.  I will never forget your Valk rig with the beautiful dragon on the sidecar.  The inspiration for that dragon is also part of what I will never forget.

BG, you are the first VRCC member I met.  You are the one who motivated me to be active on the old board.  It was a great ride.  Do you realize that was 10 years ago last week?  We have shared many of life's experiences since then.  Ride Safe, Friend.

RJ, I'm glad to see you're also above ground. It sure beats the alternative.   Cool

We had a great time at that CBR in 2007.  You all helped us celebrate Navigator's "new freedom."  cooldude

Hey there, Sugerbear.  That moment was one of the neatest things for us.  We were very hot and tired after being on the Valk for 2 months.  I knew it was you from being on this board.  It was very uplifting and brought us through St. Louis in very good spirits.

Hi, Chrome Dome.  Glad to see you're still on the board.  You're another Valker I was hoping to ride with one day.
