The VRCC will again provide a wall calendar, but this time for the year 2012.  If you have a particularly good picture of your Valkyrie please send it to us at VRCCstaff@gmail.com.  By submitting the picture to the VRCC staff for consideration for the VRCC calendar you are attesting:

1)  That you are the owner of the printing rights to the photo
and 2) that you release those rights to the VRCC for inclusion in the VRCC 2012 calendar or any other published form by the VRCC.

Pictures should be digital images of relatively high resolution (original camera size for most digital cameras is acceptable).  Please include your handle or name and a  very short description, such as location, of the picture.

We prefer pictures that:

Prominently display a Valkyrie

Do not include people

Seasonal scenes are a plus

Have an uncluttered aethestically pleasing background

and

Have not been previously used in a VRCC wall calendar.

So, get busy.  Show me what we've got.

I assume since it's for a 2012 calendar the time frame is rather short. Correct?

Need a tip on a place to stay?

Oops... wrong town... I meant to say Gatlinburg, TN.   uglystupid2

Wife and I have a cabin in the mountains.  Her brother referred us to the place.

But thank you anyway!  cooldude

Thanks, guys, for the energetic responses.

Lucky 13 and a perfect specimen. 2000 Model Interstate.

Foothills Parkway, Spring, Smoky Blue Ridges of Pristine Unspoiled Wilderness.

Send it, Al, but the one you posted is way too small.

I assume since it's for a 2012 calendar the time frame is rather short. Correct?

Absolutely correct.  I'll collect for a couple of weeks and then we'll select and build.

Don't post them here, fellas.  Email them to me.

Bump and reminder.  Send me more pics.  We do have some good ones now, but I really like a large pool for our selection committee.

I can't tell if this one is too blurry or not... I'll look for the original, it has all the bits  Wink ,when
I get home... me and Steamer at the East Cavalry Field (almost nobody goes there) at
Gettysburg...

If this one turns out to be too blurry, it seems like someone should have a good
Valkyrie picture from Gettysburg...

Was going to ride over to the lighthouse in New Smyrna(south of Daytona) and take a couple shots. If it doesn't happen, no biggie. Maybe this weekend if I can leave the house earlier than usual.

Just wondering...Mikey K, is that a TV antenna or a lightning arrestor sticking up in back. Oh, I got it, it's a GPS antenna.  2funny (inside joke, folks)

Don't wait too long.  We won't hold it open past next week.  We've already received over a hundred calendar ready photos.

I just need to wait til it stops. I have an absolutely beautiful 2000 acre field by my house that just got harvested and I want to use it as a back drop for a few pics. I just cant go out in the wide open until it quits raing... tuesday, you will have them wednesday.

The restriction is on the picture, Joe, not the bike.  I'm sure you have other good pictures that haven't yet been used.

I was wondering why we hadn't heard from you.

Also, though, without locations, so I just plugged "New Jersey" into each one.
