After reading the post on bar codes, I remembered a store near here that only carries Made IN America products. I printed the bar code numbers as I try to buy American products.
Just input Made in America on your search engine (and your area) and the stores will come up

Thanks for posting that link.

When not working I wear Wrangler jeans and their shirts.  Years ago when I realized their products were starting to be made elsewhere I went from store to store buying jeans and shirts.  I purchased 22 pairs of jeans in two different sizes and 28 shirts.  I’m down to only 6 pair of new jeans and 4 shirts that have not been introduced into the rotation.  Once those are worn out I guess I’ll have to check out other sources of American Made but then I may be gone before they are soooooo.

Early this summer I needed a new spray nozzle for the garden hose and I went to three different stores before I found one at an ACE hardware that was made in USA.  It did make for a nice trip on the bike though.

People who buy all that China crap don’t fully understand how badly they are hurting the economy and their chances for future employment.  We all can’t make our money like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or be gainfully employed by the ever growing medical and legal fields.

Your welcome - there are also some made in Texas, but I got a pair, and they just didn't last, at all. One thing I've seen is where they buy the cloth made outside the US, then put them together here, and call in "Made in the USA". And they seem to be inferior - not sure if that's the case with the Texas jeans, but I just know they didn't hold up. The All American Clothing Jeans, from the link I sent, held up better than any jeans I have ever owned - I wear mine "long", so I can cuff them, and pull the cuff down when I ride, to keep the wind out, and the other jeans wear through at the "fold", whereas these didn't. They over all wore out the same time, after quite a LONG time, wearing them often.

Typical disclaimer, not affiliated, just a very happy customer!

I buy American whenever I can. I do NOT shop at WalMart, I'm trying not to shop at Sam's, and I'll pay a bit more, to ensure the continuance of the greatest country in the world.

Okay, Rog, off the soap box!

I have thought about this often. china imports most of it's raw or scrap material. Makes the crap , ships it to where ever and then sells it. Stop and think of how little the workers must be getting.
The product (so it's called) is shipped , trucked and sold for less than the American made products.
Most other countries charge an import tax ( 60% is about the highest I ever heard about) , for imported goods. Gee, if we were to use this policy, maybe we could recoup some of our losses and re-establish the american job market , and help with some of the debt. (uess who is the 60%)

Uhmmmmm...CHINA??

That's why the "Big 3" have plants IN CHINA! China has VERY strict rules, for foreign (to them) cars, and you have to 'GIVE' them your technology, and hire a certain number on Chinese, in management, etc, etc.

Guess they learned well from us, eh, Grasshopper?

Here's the facts: Foreign Car Companies in China

Follow the links on the left of the page, to learn about the American companies.

AND, the first Chinese car coming, is an upper end electric, at a forty or fifty grand price tag, from what I heard (although I can't find a link).

Buy AMerican.

Well if this were a Harley Board  I would think it appropriate.

But even the Harley Clothes are made in another country.

We ride a Japanese Bike the Valk.

Made or maybe assembled in America.

Buy American is a joke these days.

We have been sold out to the banks and foriegn governments.

ALL our money is leaving via, Gasoline or Oil Purchases from the Middle East.

Financing our Medicare and Social Security for  a little while longer to get Obama elected,,,,,,,,,,,, from the Chinese.

Fore Long we is gonna be working for Ole Hung Chow himself for less than minimum wage just to pay the interest.

Wake Up before it is too late.

So now that you have stated the obvious what is your specific plan to turn things around?  I’m not being facetious here either.  Can it be done in our life time?  Please do not claim that by voting someone in or out it will make a difference.  That has never worked and it does not matter what monkey is in office.

44.00 is not that much for an all American made quality pair of jeans. You can pay that for Levis in some places.

Last time I looked, Texas Jeans are actually being Made in NC.   ???   Schaefer Ranchwear is made in El Paso, TX and warehoused in Las Cruces, NM.

More info on the subject of American-made Jeans in this 31 August 2011 thread from the Texas Board.  http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,32490.0.html

Diamond Gusset got rave reviews in the TX thread.
