Had the Dodge Coronet back in the day... It also had that awesome 318 in it... Ran great.  Lot's of partying in that car in the mid 70s... Grin

You must've been looking for some heavy duty fog.

I had a 68ish 4-door, slant-6 and 3 in the tree. Used it as my rig pig back in the day.  Hit a cow with it and used a sledge hammer to do the body work and get the radiator away from the fan. I drove it for the last 5-6 months that I owned it without clutch linkage. Tough little car.

I had a blue 69 Dodge Dart 225 slant six auto 4 door. Best car ever! Owned a few slant 6 Mopars, I still think I could work on them blind folded. Changed a rear end by myself once. Hardest part was getting the replacement in and out of the trunk!

My best friend in HS had a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger with the 225 slant 6.....his had the flat nose and small rubber bumper pieces....but it was the same brown color.....it got GREAT mileage, but wouldn't pull the hat off your head.......We'd sometimes cut "do-nuts" in the Winn Dixie parking lot after midnight when we'd get off work there.......I could smoke the tires on mine and actually burnt up a few re-caps doing that.....his would go dead if  he tried to break the tires loose going forward, so he'd put it in reverse to shift the weight forward enough to "smoke" his tires...... Cheesy.....then he'd be hauling @ss in reverse and slide it back around......that all ENDED one night when he whipped it around and hit one of those concrete filled steel "Return Carts Here" posts by the buggy returns.......it hit so hard, that the hood had a perfect semi-circular indentation in the hood.....it mashed the radiator and fan together and they totaled it out.....I wasn't there that night, but he had to call and wake up his Dad to come get him...... Cheesy Grin.....that was NOT a good night for him.....when there was only ONE other car in the parking lot and he was "up a pole"......

I was on the Volunteer Fire Dept. 3 miles from my house back then...I had a red light and a siren to use to go to fires.....there are a couple of LOOOONG straight aways on the way to the fire house and there were many nights when I would be doing 130+mph going to a fire....if one of those recaps had of blown off, I might not be here today..... Shocked.....ahhhhh, to be young and dumb and full of _ _ _ again..... Cheesy
