Newbie question on 12V adapter - quick install

Hi, I'm going to be picking up my "new" valk on Friday, and I was hoping I could "rig" a 12V outlet quickly for the long ride home......In the past I simply wired it to the battery and had it "dangle"..Not pretty, but worked until a more permanent solution was obtainable...
Is the battery easily accesible? What tools will I need to get the seat off, access the battery, etc...
This will be just for GPS.... Thanks.

You would need a flat blade screwdriver, that's about it.
Your ignition key unlatches the seat. Key goes to the front area of the left-side cover. Follow the left side cover around to underneath the tank and you'll see it.
Unlatch the rubber strap that holds down the black plastic battery cover. Remove cover and have at the battery terminals. They can be removed with the aforementioned flat blade screwdriver.

Sounds easy......and remember, the angle of the dangle is directly proportional to the heat of the meat!!
Thanks.
