  I was searching for a Levi denim jacket. It seems that Levi had never made a 3x until recently. there was an auction for 69.99 or 79.99 buy it now( a store, I assumed it would be relisted). It went for $111. total  Immediately the next one was BIN gone for 79.99. I searched for about 30 minutes and found a authorized reseller with them for $64., I had mine for 74. in 3 days.

  many items go for more than new price, except when I am trying to make money.

I have seen complete trailer hitches and homemade ones go for more $$$$ used and abused than a brand spanking new one goes for. And trust me it's not just on flea bay. We get a lot of estate and farm/ranch auctions down here. There are people everywhere with more money than common sense. I've seen used one and two axle trailers go for 20% to 35% more than listed at the new trailer yard. Just ain't no figuring out some folks. RIDE SAFE.

  My jacket above I'm going to put a VRCC patch on, so it's related now.

  I have saw those trailers many times, a 10 year old trailer sell within 500 of new price, needing repairs,leaking and bad tires. I have give up trying to get a trailer bargain at auction. At farm auctiona I used to see looser bidding when bad events were causing sales.

Some people get caught up in the bidding excitement.....   I myself prefer to find a low price and just get it over with....
