Having been a Lions fan most of my life and married to a lions fan all of his life...yes, it has been rather difficult at times.  Especially the past 10 years or so, although we have always tried to be true fans, we have had to switch mid-year to Green Bay, Minnesota or Chicago.  We also have learned to take it a week at a time. We are trying to shake the dazed and confused feeling we've had this year but are quite pleased at what we have seen so far.  Reminding us of years in the past when yes...they were contenders   And we are all hoping they continue on this path...GO LIONS...YAY!!

I watch EVERY Lions game! Sat through every game in the 0-16 loosing season. I'm hoping this is the payback season for us real Lions fans

Not totally surprising.
They have stockpiled good young players through the draft while they were losing & now have all the pieces {& some good coaching} that have come together very well.
Kinda like a football version of the TB Rays except the Lions play in a league that has a salary cap to keep things on the level. No Yanks or Red Chokes buying an All-Star team every year in their division.
The Pack will be tough to beat though, they have it going on pretty good right now!

Yes. . . .  indeed. . . . the Lions ARE winning my fellow Michiganders!! All these years, decades really, of drinking the koolaid is finally paying off for us! Thier last championship was the year before I was born; 1957! Yet, EVERY year we've supported this team. I remember Greg Landry, Bill Munson, Mel Farr, Bill Tripplet, Charlie Sanders, and Lem Barney!

We've been there. . . . good teams (yes, they had a few) and the BADs. We were there when MacMillion - the WORST GM in NFL History - drove them into the dirt! We've earned this! So, enjoy it NOW and hop on the wagon! there's plenty of seats left!!!!

Yes. . . There's lots of season left. . . .  and their O-line (Backus is a joke, but sadly he's a 'healthy' joke and never misses a game!) scares the crap out of me, but we'll BEAT GREEN BAY!  

I predicted 10-6 at the start of the season, but if they win the next two, including Monday night football against Chicago, all bets are off! 11-5? 12-4? 13-3? Oh wait! I DRANK THE KOOLAID! 16-0 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
