Received my new Clearview shield to replace my delaminating one.  Hated to lose the etching/painting on mine, but seeing clearly is worth it.  I really appreciated their communication process with automatic updates on when they were manufacturing the shield, inspecting and shipping.  Carefully packed it, too.  I chose them for a couple of reasons, but the main one was that they would install the vent they sell where the others said they don't install them on my model.  I was surprised that the outer part of the frame for the Hondaline was 3 different pieces and recruited extra hands for holding things in place.  My first trial run with the new shield will be Sunday.

Hey Gary, what height did you get?

I've been toying with the idea to swap out my Clearview tinted stardard with a Clearview Sport.. I think its 2" shorter with the same width.

I got the 1" taller and wider.  Guess I've seen too many spam emails not to.   Grin

Mine is not a good test for that, though, because the altered triple trees give more angle to the windshield than stock and that's why I opted for a little extra height.

I'll have it out at Grapevine Sunday if you want to check it out. I also chose to go with the light tint.

I've got a clearview 17" with vent I replaced with a 21" with vent.  Still in great condition and I think the same width.  I might be able to part with it.  I only got the new one for the height.  Email or message me if you want.

With the original Valkyrie windshield installed on my bike a partial vacuum is created which pulls the hot air up from the engine onto the rider (even making the tank hotter). Taking the windshield off eliminates this of course. With the clearview windshield and the 5 way vent installed, how effective is this at breaking the vacuum and reducing the hot air that is pulled up on the rider? (i.e. do you have a guess meauresment... like no difference at all or 10, 20, 50 or 75%. less heat is pulled?)

I believe it would help with that, but can't test effectively.  My Baker air wings worked to fix that for me initially and now with a sidecar on the bike, fresh air is directed by it up towards me and down past the engine.
