Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

Several of us are hookin' up saturday morning 10-1 for a ride across and around the Cumberland Plateau. We'll have folk's from Georgia and The Great State Of Tennessee attending this ride.Plan is to meet up at exit 60 off I-75 the Sweetwater / Spring City exit @ Hwy.68/I-75 be at McDonald's at 10:00 a.m. ( eastern time ) for breakfast. From there we will zig-zag our way on some great roads over toward the Cumberland Plateau. I've been working in the area and I've got a great ride planned out that will take us on some of the best roads that area has to offer for motorcycling. For some this will be a over-night ride I know I plan on packing a change of clothes just in case for others it will be possible to return home that evening. My guess right now for those that want to hang out and party alittle saturday night will be around Brydstown, TN near the Kentucky border. The weather is looking outstanding with nothing but sunshine and cooler temps in the forecast...Bring It...LET'S RIDE  Smiley

There's clever people here who can remove that pole and lines.

Anyway considering who you work for it's quite fitting to have them in.

It's rare we work on those co-op lines unless it's a tornado or ice strom.

Safe ride as always.

And as usual, we are working this weekend and I will not be available.

38 degrees Saturady night here, it will be 30 there no doubt.

Heated clothes here we come.

Here we are for a Hardees hookup in the early morn on a cold day.

10,000 miles ago

That's Nasty 9 and your Interstate beside us.

No doubt it's gonna be a cool ride was hoping some of The Wild Bunch showed up for this ride as I've found some really nice backroads off and around the Cumberland Plateau.I've been up since 4:00 am getting ready to roll out and enjoy the beautiful day .

Dixie Cycle just up the road from where we hook up at Hardee's in South Clinton is a local Gerbing dealer. If it helps they also have a Lay-A-Way plan....Start out with the jacket liner and gloves. I've got the works jacket liner, gloves, outer pants with both socks and boot incerts. If you get down to keeping the feet toastie go with the incerts as the wires in the socks feel like you have a boot full of pencils. It's rare I wear everything mostly the jacket liner and gloves do the trick. Fact is I've only had the whole outfit on once that was when " THE " Detn8er and I took off on a 500 mile ride to Hattiesburg, Mississippi it was 9 degree's when we pulled out of my garage  Shocked To date that's the coldest weather I've rode in and other than my face and neck I was as Pink Floyd claims " comfortably numb "  cooldude
