Why is it that so many of these are " a young girl driver"? I know from a couple million miles in a big rig, that whenever either a very young, or very old, driver was around me, I got very nervous, as they were the ones that did the most stupid things.
Certainly not all were in those ages, but a lot.
I think we need to move UP the age for young drivers, and require testing of older drivers. The older you get, the more frequent the testing gets.
Lest someone think it would not apply to me, I am nearing 60, so it would very soon. If I cannot pass a simple car test, which are VERY basic, I should not drive.
Seems like the old ones lose their skills, but the young drivers mistakes are mostly in the lack of attention to driving. Testing is not effective on them, as they have the skills, IF they use them. Seems like too many on the road do NOT.
