Our family lost my nephew Saturday night. David Linderman, 47, to a heart attack. He was my sister’s son. He leaves behind a son Jake who is married, expecting his first baby anytime and a daughter Amanda. I was 6 years old when David was born. He has sister, Shelly; not too far being him in age. I guess you can say the three of us grew up together. Please pray for our family as we begin to deal with the reality of our loss and begin the next days. Today will begin the process of making arrangements and whatever comes next. I’m feeling a sense of  loss in may ways, loss of my nephew, at a loss of “what can I do” to help his kids, sister and Mom feel better. To hold your sister as she sobbs in grief  over the loss of her son is probably one of the most helpless and lost feelings I’ve felt in a very long time.

If you would keep us in your thoughts and prayers this week It would be much appreciated.

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

My brother was killed in a auto accident 5 years ago (oct 6)
He was 49
We were very close and use to work on bikes and ride together among many other things.
I suppose the hardest thing that Ive ever done in my life was havin to go tell my mother the news.
Mom took the news standing and  just stood there like a rock praying.
The power and strength of the Holy Spirit upheld her and without any hysteria she calmly got her things together and came over to my house where all other family members were gonna start gathering.

Not wanting to steal the thunder of this thread.
Just wanting to let you know other families understand what your family is going through at this moment and our hearts go out to you.

May the power and strength of the Holy Spirit be with you also as it was with us and support you through these trying times.

Remember the promise ... of life everlasting.
