The screw holding my (97 standard) radiator side cover broke.  Apparently the reflector has to come off to replace the screw.  Does this reflector pry off.  I tried a bit of prying but didn't want to break it.

The reflector is stuck on with mounting tape... the side cover is plastic, so be careful  Smiley

Heat it with a hair dryer or leave in the sun on a hot day, pick up a corner with your finger nail or a knife, go slow, using modest pulling force, watch that the oposite end were you are prying is not making a divot in the plastic chrome and it is off.  Some 91% isopropyl alcohol will help clean-up any adhesive residue.  Worked for me and I left them off.

I remove mine with a piece of fishing line!!  It's a piece of cake. Then, use new doubleside tape to reinstall.

The "residential" double sided tape may work for a bit, but you're gambling with that one. Look for 3m body and moulding tape at your auto parts store of choice. this is the stuff used for emblems and trim bits. It definitely will hold.

Don't get me wrong the resi tape is a good product, but it was not designed for auto/MC use and  CANNOT handle heat, cleaners etc.

+1 on the "RED" 3M brand double stick EXTERIOR Tape. It sticks better, will stay stuck, and it's thinner. This is great on tank emblems too cooldude
