Is the right throttle side start button housing on an Interstate swappable with one from a Standard?  Same for the Rear Hub/Differential?

i know the hub & diff is the same really think the switchs are the same also .. good luck cant wait to see it

The throttle switch is definitely swapable. The cables exit down instead of forward and so this gives much more length to the cables for taller risers.

I recently bought a new right-side switch for my IS and it was a different part than Standard or Tourer. Had to go to HDL; lots of switches on eBay but not ones that fit an IS.

Yep! I have swapped an I/S throttle switch assembly (the metal part)  onto my Tourer a while back === much cleaner set-up!

I believe that Chet at Rattlebars had come up with that tip/idea. cooldude

I think the switches are different because they are piloted for location on the handlebars.

Haven't really looked to how it is done but once they are in place they will not move around.

I wrote the VRCC member who I sold my IS switch to, asking this question. He said he bought it for his IS, but he also owns a std, and that he looked, and that the switch is NOT interchangeable.

I would then think, that you would need to modify something to make it work. And we are talking the switch, not the throttle cables.

the kill & starter switch are the same. The only dif is where the throttle cables come out of. On a standard and tour they come out of the top of the throttle housing and on a Interstate they come out of the bottom of the throttle housing cooldude
