I’ve had the air conditioning shut off and all the windows and doors open in the house for four days now and it looks like that may be it for the summer!!!  About time!!  It seemed rather longer than usual this year.

Great riding weather has finally returned to Arizona and ironically the air conditioning on the bike is working again.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

great, i've put my last tank of fuel in the cycle, getting ready to put it up on blocks for the F-ing winter.  six months of cold, wet, miserable weather.  Angry

I'll come and get your Valk and bring it out to Arizona where it can have a vacation.   I'll show it all the great spots and take very good care of it.  I'll even send you photo's of all the places it's visited.

alph!!!  Grow some stones man  Wink  I've been out more this past week than I've been in the past month...  Mother Nature can deal us some nasty changes, but I'm holdin' out 'til Thanksgiving weekend! (hope, fingers crossed, wishing...)

200 miles SE of you, and really hope I'm right.

BTW, just funnin' ya  coolsmiley

I'm not a fan of AC. My wife and I didn't grow up with it. I'd never turn it on at all but she makes me when it gets over 100 degrees. When it stopped being upper 90s we turned it off. That seems like months ago but probably wasn't. The fans and open windows have been nice. Now the fans are off. The windows are finally closing at night. We are still a few weeks away from turning on the heat so life is good.

I'm hoping winter isn't going to sneak in early but so far we're having fine NC riding weather.

black dog, i know you messing with me!!  cooldude  if it wasn't for guys like smokin-joe, and those southerners writting about how much fun they're having while we're snowed in, it wouldn't be so bad.  it's just like being sick and stuck in the house while your friends are all out playing!!

Cruzen, you can come by and get the cycle, there's only one problem, i'll be in the saddle bag!!  Grin

i was out in my shed making room for my cycle and it dawned on me that you southerners might think i don't like hearing about your thanksgiving day weekend rides, or the january 1st get togethers, but i do enjoy reading about 'em!!  please take pictures when you do!!  they make the winters more bearable.  one of these years i'm going to buy a trailer and "harley" my valk down to some warmer weather roads!!

Map quest showing 672 to 771 miles from me to you. Point being i've ridden my fat girl every month of the year down here. I can relate to sucky winters cuz i'm originally from the chain of lakes area in northen Illinois. Think Waukegan Il Kenosha Wi area. I'm not as far south as some and not way out west but i have more good riding days than bad ones. coolsmiley Wish the wallet would let me ride more than it does. 2funny In the first year i've owned the fat girl i still managed 12202 miles on her. cooldude And B T W-no way in h3ll do i miss that weather up there. Cool Seems like as we age the winters feel a LOT  longer. 2funny RIDE SAFE.
