Does anyone have experience with the Knight Rider brake light bars?

http://www.customdynamics.com/knight_rider_led_light_bar.htm

I was thinking one that is solid like a running light, and flashes a few times before going to a solid brake light.   Their model LB03.  My thinking is that it will get attention, and also act as a back up in case my stock bulb goes out on me while riding.  It's LED, so the additional current draw shouldn't matter.

I know installing a unit to flash the stock light looks nicer.  Just looking for anyone with first hand knowledge to tell me it's a poor, or good product.

Thanks.

Yes.  I don't have the light bar, but their tag with the Knight-rider light bar on it.  I've had 'em try to kill me from the front, but so far, no one has ran over me from the rear yet.  I've asked alot of people and everyone of them so far says that I really stand out and the light bar grabs their attention.

I'd say it's a plus.

btw.....It might be illegal where you are.  I've asked the local county AND city popo's about it's legality before and both told me that it's technically illegal here in the county, city AND state.  HOWEVER......and it's a pretty big however.....they've all said the same thing......that there isn't a law officer out there that'd pull me over just for the light alone.  They all understand that it's a motorcycle and I'm trying to stay alive by being seen.  However, they all said that if they see me doing something stupid or otherwise against the law, that I'm most likely get a ticket for the light.

btw.....I also ride on a military base.  Those cops are the worse for details, rules, regulations and laws, and so far nobody has said anything about my tag light and I've been riding with it for three plus years now.

Where did you pick up the wiring, and how did you route it?  I can't see any wires in the video.

Hard as I try "googling" I still haven't found the law for Florida.  I emailed several manuf asking about my state.   We'll see.

I never bothered to look up the laws whether it's actually legal or illegal.  All I know is what a couple of cops told me and I took their word.  I do know that no one's ever bothered me about it or questioned me.

As for the wires......they exit out the back of the frame and I ran them up into the turn signal housing and then out thru the fender.....then up the wiring chase up to the tail light and made the connections there.  You have to look to see any wires at all and the wires you do see are only an inch or two out the back of the license tag frame.
