Ok Im confused. Is it running on 2 cylinders or is there a driveline vibration? DOes it do this at speed or stopped? At idle or higher revs?

Yep, you guys are right but,, the way Bev and I ride, i sometimes wind up on a little back road that dead ended and i have to turn her around,,,also my knees aint what they used to be so i decided to down grade to a smaller bike,, i thought about the kawasaki voyager, nice bike almost bought one,,then i walked into the harley shop and brian remembered me from 2001,,anyway i got this one 2 grand less than the kawasaki,, i bought it,,we did a 300 mile run today and we are both about the same as we would have been on the Valk. So i will give it a whirl and se where we wind up...it does have plenty of zip,,,and i do have to down shift more,,,no more 25 mph roll ons out of a turn,,

here is a few pictures,,, but seen one ya seen em all,,,, http://www.jess2.com/harley/

I talked with the dealer he claims $6,300 will buy it out the door so I'm guessin' $6,000 cash would buy the bike...Blue/Silver Interstate with 73,000 miles on it.

Loved my Interstate, lots of great memories but not sure I would go back since going to a Harley.
Really have enjoyed my Electra Glide Classic and now my Electra Glide Ultra Classic.

I have met several who went from a Valk to Harley and all seemed quite happy with their choice. talked to a guy a month ago at a gas station, said he couldn't stop riding the Harley.

Don't expect most on this board to understand and I can live with that.

Like I said before, its that you ride, not what you ride.

Did a PGR ride on saturday, about 30 miles total. All I heard afterwards was my fellow riders             ( harleys) crying about how hot their legs were at the slow speeds. Hell, my fan never even came on.

one of my problems wasnt the heat at slow speeds,, it was the heat at hiway speeds..
and people talk about old technology,, my bike doesnt even have throttle cables on it,,and nothing before 2008 fits it,,,
we now have about 500 miles on it, did that on saturday, and we are both pleased so far..
what i need now is a Valk I can take the engine from and put it into a mini sprint...
