I have sat at local car shows and watched some young guys pin striping some of the rat rods around here.  They use a slightly different technique but it is interesting to watch such talented individuals.

I remember watching a Ural pin stripper at work doing hand pin stripping. She did a double pin stripe in one motion as the tank swung on a chain from overhead. Reportedly, after she died Ural used a single pin stripe.
