Anyone know if it is possible to adjust the intercom volume independently for the driver and passenger on my Interstate ??.. My passenger complains that I am little too loud, where as I find it a little difficult to hear my passanger.. (and before you ask, both of us have normal hearing)

Only way that I know of would to be adding a lower cord (the one that goes from you helmet cord to the attachment at the motorcycle. J&M sells lower cords with volume controls built in. That way you can set the intercom volume to a medium level and turn your own (yours or the passenger) up or down as needed.

Ta PTGB!
That's a very possible solution.. The cord that J&M advertise is the "PSCR-GL15  Deluxe Passenger Controller for Honda® GL-1500".
I assume it's targeted at the 1500 Goldwing, do you know if it is compatible with the Valkyrie or if there are any fitting issues...

I don't know which cord I have, much depends on what headsets you have (We have one for my wife, except she rides her own now). I know you are in Ireland but it may behoove you to give them a call... I have never had too much luck talking to J&M directly as some of the people there are not familiar with the term "customer service".

I do all my J&M business through Sierra Electronics out of Troy, Ohio. They are very knowledgeable and especially helpful. Those are the kinds of businesses that get my $$$.

Phone Number: 800-338-6938 or you can probably email them through their website:

Good luck.

The lower cord is the same for the Valk & the 1500 GoldWing, on the bike end.  Headset end would depend on the model headset you have.  Stan

That there looks like your best option... works with what ever cord you have.

Position your microphone away from your mouth until SHE'S asking YOU to turn up the volume.
