Hey big d!

That looks like the one BnB Tom has on his Valkyrie.  I'll email him the link to this thread.

The NAPA dealer in Happy Camp, CA says that he orders a lot for local Harley riders.  To me it looks like more work in doing the oil change.  However they look good.

I've got one.  They're easy to use, but I don't use it because the ShowChrome cover will not fit over it.  Mine is a different brand, and did not come with the options for different finishes this link shows, so I use a chrome filter cover.  I'm sure someone will jump in and tell you how it doesn't filter the oil as well, etc etc, etc,,   I can't provide any evidence regarding it filtering capablity, so I won't give my opinion and call it fact like some do. And Farther is correct, it does make a bit more work out of an oil change, but you don't have to find an "acceptable" way to dispose of the used filter either  Roll Eyes   Wink

The best filtering is from a Purolator Pure One filter. It's a triple density media. Pep Boys sells them in my neck of the desert. $6.49 off the shelf. Part # PL14610 or 14612 for the short version which fits Wings, St1300 and all VTX's.

I don't think this is a "best filter on the planet" thread. Roll Eyes

junk for filtering the oil to reduce wear. any mesh screen oil filter is the result of nascar racing where they were first used and promoted by Smokey. He stated that any paper oil filter causes the oil to aerate at sustain high rpms. in other words its a race track item and should not be used on the street. more snake oil for a street vehicle.
search is your friend, I have posted the same info before. there are articles out there quoting Smokey on the subject.
