     I had one of those. They are prone to develope pin hole leaks. Happened twice to me. First time it was with the average paint job that come on the tank ( which I purchased used). Repaired the tank per instructions from the manufacturer, applied a new paint job, 3 color with ghost flames and about 2 years later it leaked again and ruined that paint job. Loved the tank couldn't afford the paint.

Dang.....that's a seriously huge tank.  I couldn't use it.  I need to get off the bike about every hundred miles anyway.  Stupid bladder and monkey butt.   coolsmiley

   olddog, you might want to make sure that they have the key to the gas cap. The cap will seal without using the key which I liked, but I also liked being able to lock it if I was going to be away from the bike for a while.
