Rocky Mountain High !

Hey everyone, Last Thursday I was off work & rode the Valk up to Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park. The weather was perfect.. not too hot, not too cold. That may not be the story next month or even later this month. I was surprised how many tourists were up there being the middle of the week & after Labor Day. Went to the Starbuck's up there & met some nice people from all over South America. I usually don't let strangers mount my sickle but they all wanted to so they could take pictures with their cell phones & cameras. They were Clergy so I figured what the heck. It was cool. Fall is my favorite time of year to ride, especially in the Colorado Mountains. Spent dang near the whole day up there. No gravel on the roads yet. Not much snow at the elevations I was riding at from the last snows they got up there. If you haven't riden your sickle thru E.P. & R.M.N.P. you should plan on it someday. Well, take care & ride safe. tom t

In a few weeks the stream (hard to see) in the background will be solid ice.
