Never heard of 3 people on one bike before.  They could not have been big people.  Why the hell would you put 3 people on a motorcycle?

When I was a kid, my dad and I were headed up to camp on his motorcycle...a '78 Honda 750.  It was late at night (past midnight), pretty cold (low 40's) and without any windshield or fairing, dad's hands were freezing.  So we stopped along side of I79 on the shoulder to warm them up over the exhaust pipes.  After a few minutes, this college kid runs out of gas in his pickup just down the road from us, so here he comes walking up to us asking for a ride to the next exit (Slippery Rock) where he could get a ride from some of his buddies.  Feeling sorry for him, dad says sure and off we all go...I was in the middle.  This poor dude only had a sweatshirt and no helmet or gloves or even boots, just sneakers.  When we got there, he was so cold, he couldn't stop shaking and could barely walk.  But he thanked us and headed down the offramp.  I still remember that night.  Cheesy

Yep...the first year I had my Victory in '04 I was at a rally and a couple of young gals wanted to go bead collecting. Sans clothing, I had one reversed on tank, one on back. Got more pictures taken that ride around the large campgrounds than I've had taken. Must have been the new Victory they all wanted pics of. cooldude Grin

Back in the day I rode my CB500 about 30 miles with my girlfriend and her sister aboard. Ran well and handled the weight just fine. I dunno how legal 3 on a bike is but it's not hard to do....at least with the flat seat on the old CB's.

During my teen years (while I still knew everything) I never had more than 5 people on my MC.

I rode a wheelie with two of my nieghbors on my Can-Am 185 during our home coming parade, Two girls, one on the tank and the other behind me on the seat, Through all five gears, 70 miles an hour.
Looking back, that was the dumbest thing I think I ever had done on a motorcycle. Not one of had a helmet, We were wearing cut offs, and sandles. Thank God I was able to keep control and set it down perfectly.
