1:  My clock has gained about 10 minutes ....

I bought my first Valkyrie in June 1998 on The Fall Color Ride last weekend I rode that bike and we was rollin' down this ol'backroad Britman was showing us and I thought to myself....Damn this is one sweet motorcycle  cooldude

Esp. with the stereo turned up and riding the Dragon.



No Petcock and no final drive to service. Just gas , change oil and ride.

I know what you mean.I have a 02 standard.I think I'll have to look into trading in.I had to replace a headlight bulb an fix a leaking tire valve .Jap junk.An I only have 130000 miles on it.

I've had two petcocks fail in the last year. It's not a big deal, but is annoying. I also had to replace my final drive because of the inept person that worked on the cycle before I bought it.

Mine has a HUGE problem.....

The footpegs always drag when I'm deep in the corners tickedoff

Can't seem to find a cure.

As you travel faster and faster, time dilation causes you to experience time at a slower rate. Some of the Skylab astronauts were estimated to be several seconds younger than they would have been otherwise.
The Valkyrie engineers are very smart people and knew the speed induced time dilation would be a problem on a bike like the Valkyrie, so they designed the clock to gain speed to offset the expected effects. If your clock appears to be gaining time, you need to ride faster.
