I have been signed up with the PGR for at least 2 years now and never had or took the time to go on a mission. Yesterday all the star lined up and I was able to go on a mission in Killeen.

It was a humbling and a great experience all at the same time. Yesterdays events will be etched in my memory for a long time.  We didn't have any protesters and I am glad for that.

For those of you that also have been signed up and haven't been on a mission, you gotta take the time to go on one!

The PGR is the reason I got back into biking. I have had my most memorable and humbling experiences on missions with the Patriot Guard. I'm glad you went TJ. I hope you get to make many more.

I did my first PGR mission a few years ago on the day after Thanksgiving. I got up early and rode to Oklahoma City for a mission. The protestor's were there and we formed a line between the protestor's and the family of the fallen soldier. It was a humbling experience. I have done other PGR missions when I can but a lot of the missions are during the week when I am working. I will do more in the future.
