Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: October 22, 2011, 05:39:32 PM »

We hooked up around noon (4) Valk's (1) Kawasaki Connie and (1) Kawasaki Vulcan. Took off on some nice backroads toward Knoxville, Tennessee to check out a street festival that was going on today.I know we have a few Studebaker owners on here.

The engine

My ridin' buddy Paul ( Wimp ) said he saw Lucky 13 makin' a deal on this cause he could see over the steering wheel  2funny

We watched a few of these chicks dance this one really caught our eyes as she was HOT

Took several pictures of the vintage bikes below is some of my favorite.

When we arrived and was parking the bikes we saw this dude come ridin' by on this it's home-made as you can see and powered by a 1969 Opel engine. Greg and I both voted for it as the peoples choice it was cool  cooldude

Check this steering system out  Shocked

Beautiful day in The Great State Of Tennessee to be out with friends enjoying motorcycles.Below is " The Money Shot " taken about a mile from my home this morning on Lost Ridge.

Nice report Joe, it was nice here in Wisconsin but I had other obligations to keep me off the roads.  At least you'll have a few more weeks of riding.  Our season is just about done here.

No fairing on my 1,000cc

http://www.motorcycleclassics.com/classic-italian-motorcycles/laverda-jota-1000.aspx

Laverda 1000cc, 3 cylinder, chain drive. Fast, wonderful handling brute. Pulled to 60mph in first gear. Terrible to ride around town but orgasmic on the open road. This is the bike that took me to over 150mph on the M40 early one fine summer morning – Wheeeee.
Sold so I could pursue a new job as a despatch rider in London, had to have a more suitable bike.  Sad

I'm serious Evan those headlights stuck out about 2 inches on the end ( it was a cool day ) . I was hoping the camera got a clean shot at those as they could put a eye out  Shocked

Did 200 miles today over Blood Mountain, Richard Russell Pky, and around the North Georgia mountains.  I bought a used set of Gerbing gloves and they work fine, but I am going to have to buy the vest just to get a better wiring system.

Beautiful day to ride.

This thing looks like it was inspired by that bike built by Mad Dog.  The bike that nobody can ride.
