seems every which way you go there is water here, rivers, reservoirs, streams
and lots of colors
1st pic is where the 9A meets 9 and heads north just below Croton Point. A great
place to camp if you want to do NYC cheap.

next is the Croton Dam from just off the money spot looking north

from there I headed east on 129 and pulled over as I crossed the reservoir
this shot is looking north. A great road winds thru there which you cant go more than 20mph as the pavement is not in good shape and lots of potholes and mud Britman would dig it
and there is farm country here Hanover Farm is just north of this spot. My wife
teaches classes there as an herbalist, she loves being there and making her potions
tinctures and such

This is the road in the direction I was heading

I headed up 118 and into Yorktown, Yorktown Heights, Goldens Bridge and a bunch of sleepy towns
Many battles fought about every mile in this area during the revolutionary war. After following some great roads almost to Connecticut I came back down and
hit this spot as 100 crosses over the reservoir only 8 or 10 miles east of the dam

The reds are just coming out I had thought we got ripped off by mother nature
but it seems that with the reds and oranges coming out late we will have at least
another peak week to go
Hope you all got in some wind today
