If you still have the receipt, they are guaranteed. I've sent mine back once when they both leaked. And now it looks like I'll have to send the left one back because it is leaking again. Pretty crappy life for $450+ shocks.

Is it just me or is there a crazy high percentage of them progressive rear shocks that leak and have to be repaired. I have had a lot of bikes and never had a shock leak, never had a progressive rear shock either though. Just seems there should be something out there that doesnt do that as much.

Been having trouble with my 416's and they are going to Progressive this week for a rebuild and they have not said anything about any cost to me.
Turns out one of them is bad/wrong from new. They bottomed out easy at any air pressure and then when I removed the air lines sounds like one side is ok and the other is holding air like a one way valve when I let the air out of the lines seemd about proper amount of air escaped. Then when I pulled the line off of one side it almost exploded in my hand like it had a one way check vale in the line the pressure was not released when the air inlet T was opened up... so back they go worked via email with thier tech support and he had me setup with an RMA# easy as possible to work with.

For owners in Europe, Hagon, a long established Brit manufacturer, have very good quality replacement shocks starting at less than $200 per pair, to over $500 for fully adjustable nitro stainless steel. http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/config.aspx?TypeID=T
