Saddlebags were getting a bit dull from weathering. I tried a couple of coats of dubin with mink oil, heated it up with a heat gun and it soaked right in. Still not much of a shine and edges were faded, so I tried Kiwi Leather Instant wax shine. Has some dye in it too and it really brought them back to life after a couple of coats, figured I'd pass it on.  cooldude

When we had our crash...the bike slid 20-30 feet on the right saddlebag.  It looked like a gonner....a tad hard to see in the first picture, but I planned on replacing the bags until I tried KIWI shoe polish products on it...........second picture is after the crash.

Looks good, I'm just thinking my old jacket could use some of that as well.

I used that on my boots last March, but I've only ridden in mild rains (not complaining  cooldude ) since
then... guess I better do it again, don't want cold wet feet in the winter...

Snow Seal or Mink Oil..... just don't use anything with silicone in it on nice leather.  I do my boots, leathers, gloves and tank bib bag several times a year.
